I am the youngest sibling of seven, and grew up in a family of hairdressers.  Five of my six siblings and I are third generation hair stylists, starting with my grandfather in Austria.  My father came to South Africa when he was nineteen, he met my mother and the rest is history.

I started hairdressing at sixteen, worked double time studying at tech, and every afternoon as well as Saturdays working in the salon under my fathers watchful eye. My hard work paid off, and I qualified at age eighteen as a professional hair stylist.  I then went abroad to the UK to work with my brother Matthew in a salon called “Nation” in Portobello Road, London.  I worked there for eighteen months and travelled before returning to Durban, South Africa where I started my business, and have been going ever since.
